The Jeseníky contain countless
numbers of cross-country trails. As a result tourists can
enjoy travelling through a fairy tale snowy countryside or
gaze out at deep valleys from the summit of mountain ridges.
Everyone will find a trail to suit their tastes. Beginners
can set off on cross-country skis on easy trips, while hardy,
experienced skiers will appreciate the more difficult cross-country
trails. On travelling both shorter and longer distances, skiers
will come across a range of points of interest of the Jeseníky
landscape, romantically covered in snow.
1. Jeseníky main line

The trail is made up of a circuit leading out of town starting
at the sanatorium in the Šumperk recreational forest, Tulinka,
Nad Skalami, pod Městskými skálami, Pod lomem, U Nových Domků,
consists of a circuit made up of forest paths.

4. Šumperk – Bludovská

The trail makes up this circuit. Begin at Na vápenici, U kostelíčka,
/turn to Bludoveček Zámeček/, U červeného kříže, aroud Liščího
háje (lovely views of the town of Šumperk and the Jeseníky)
/ possible turn to the motorway Temenice Hrabenov/, Zámeček,
/Bludovská to Šumperk/, around the quarry to Vlčí doly, Baba,
Boží tělo, U kostelíčka.

5. Rabštejn – Hvězda

Trail length: 3.5 km
Surface: non-reinforced forest path
The trail leads to the crossroads to Rabštejn to the crossroads
Hvězda, links up with the Jesiníky main line.

6. Hvězda – Skřítek
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: 5.5 km
Surface: non-reinforced forest paths
The trail leads to the motorest Na Skřítku, Pod Bílým kamenem,
Sedlo Skřítek, around Alice cottage to the Hvězda crossroads,
links up with the main line.

7. Be fit circuits around Skřítek

Trail length: 6 km
Surface: forest paths
The starting point is near motorest Na Skřítku with maintained
cross-country trails of lengths of 3 km, 6 km and 10 km leading
to the destination.

8. Motorest Skřítek
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: 2.5 km
Surface: forest path
Connecting trail: Ztracenka cottage – Klepáčov car-park and
motorest Na Skřítku. Connects up with the Jeseníky main line,
trail no. 6 and 7.

9. Žďárský Potok – Žlutý potok
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: 5 km
Surface: bitumen
Trail leads from Žďárský Potok, U Škaredé jedle through the
valley of the Podolský and Žlutý potok around the hunting
cottage U Huberta, to Žlutý potok. Links up with the Jeseníky
main line.
10. Circuit around the summit of Ptáčník
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: 4 km
Surface: meadows
Easy cross-country trail leading from meadows around Ptáčník
hill, connections to trails Žďárský Potok – Žlutý potok, Na
Skřítku motorest, to Rýmařov.
11. Be fit at Nová Ves
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: 4 km
Surface: forest paths, meadows
Trails can be combined in various ways in order to form circuits
of different lengths.
12. Trails in Karlov pod Pradědem
Trail width: 2 m
Trail length: 12–15 km
Surface: local and forest paths, footpaths

Pod Vápennou, Nad Karlovem.

The circuit starts at Rejvíz, Pod Rejvízem, around mechové
jezírko, Bublavý pramen, na Kazatelny, the valley of the Černá
Opava to Rejvíz.
15. Local circuits Domašov
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: cca 15 km
Surface: forest paths, meadows
Area of valley cross-country Bělá pod Pradědem – Domašov makes
it possible to create circuits of various lengths and difficulty,
linking up with ridge skiing trails /Pod skalami Jeřábu/.
Around Javořík, Pod Javoříkem, V Mlýnkách – linking up with
Lipová lázně – 6 km.
16. Be fit Paprsek

Trails are maintained in the area of Paprsek, Růžová bouda,
Medvědí bouda along the Smrk border, pod Chlupěnkovec, pod
Hraniční horou, chapel on Návrší, Císařská chata, the valley
of Černý potok, Palaš.
17. Lower circuit Velká Morava
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: 9 km
Surface: forest paths
The trail leads from Velká Morava in the direction of Horní
Morava above Sněžník cottage and further in the direction
of Tvarožná díra under the Vilemína cottage and back to Velká
Morava.
18. Jeřáb – Hedeč – Králíky
Trail width: 3 m
Trail length: 17 km
Surface: forest paths, meadows
The trails lead through the surroundings of Jeřáb peak connecting
up Svaté Trojice, Horní Orlici, Králíky, Hedeč. Links up with
the main line.
19. Kouty nad Desnou – Petrovka –
Kamzík

Trail length: 9 km
Surface: forest paths
The trail leads from Kouty nad Desnou, Pod Hřebety, Petrovka,
Kamzík. Links up with the Jesenícky main line.
